Jos is a dancer versed in Latin dances (bachata, salsa), urban styles (hip hop, dancehall), and traditional forms (flamenco, tango), is also trained in karate, muay thai, and chen style tai chi. Transitioning from the corporate realm after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Human Resources, Jos embarked on a coaching journey. Initially empowering women through anatomy, self-care, and intimacy, the focus broadened to empower all genders through mindful movement with classical Pilates.

Pilates played a transformative role; healing Jos physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Battling chronic pain, anxiety, and depression induced by hypermobile joints, Pilates became a haven for mindful meditation and relief. The practice not only enhanced strength, flexibility, and coordination but also improved attention span, communication, resilience, and even digestion.

Jos’ mission is to explore ease and kindle joy in others’ lives. The ripple effect of somatic health on psychological well-being, relationships, and community fuels a passion for guiding healing journeys with courage and compassion. Specializing in integrating pelvic health and diaphragmatic breath, Jos employs a trauma-informed approach to reshape movement habits.

Beyond Pilates, dance, and martial arts, Jos is fervent about food, fashion, natural medicine, travel, art, conscious community building, and the therapeutic joy of kitty snuggles. Her aspiration is to elevate Pilates beyond your fitness regimen to your groundbreaking system for Whole Body Health, bridging the realms of movement and medicine.
